Richard Page has been a long term supporter of Edward's Trust. He had this to say:

The October/November period of year 2000 was a particularly difficult one for me and my family. We were just coming to terms with my Father’s death when we were told of my daughters collapse!

Natalie died just two days later without regaining consciousness. She was just 22 years old and had two young children of her own, Lauren 3 and a half and Tom 2.  We had not only our own pain to handle but also that of two young children too.

We were put in touch with Edward’s Trust. Their support, care, advice and professionalism were invaluable in helping us cope with the enormity of the situation. I can honestly say we owe them a debt of gratitude. They not only helped us to deal with our sense of loss but guided us in managing the grief and shock of our two young Grandchildren.

Some ten years on now, we are all stronger, wiser, and now able to live with our loss.

It is now my turn to help Edward’s Trust.

During the last three years through Golf days and other activities I have raised in excess of £20,000 and want to continue to ensure other families faced with illness and bereavement get the support, counsel and therapy that was so important to me and my family. With your help that support can continue!

1.  Grand Canyon Challenge – October 2012.

This trek will be a physical challenge but one I know will be rewarding and raise lots of money for Edward’s Trust.  We will trek through Sedona and then climb down 3,100 feet to the bottom of the Canyon, following and ancient Indian trail. The trek will then cover some 50 miles of challenging, difficult terrain in intense heat before we climb up the opposite rim. I am funding my trip entirely on my own so 100% of sponsorship/donations I receive will go to the Edward's Trust. You can help me raise funds by sponsoring me in this endeavour.

 2.  2012 Charity Golf Day.

This will be the fourth annual Charity Golf day. We will be at The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club on Monday 18^th June 2012. This includes entry for 4 players; all receive a welcome breakfast snack, a great day of golf, a two course meal and a chance to win fantastic prizes, as well as a making a contribution to Edward’s Trust.  We will have team and individual prizes in handicap divisions as well as Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive events.
