Our Services

Support

Edward's Trust offers more than bereavement counselling to the individuals and families we support. Counselling is an important part of our work - all the staff have counselling qualifications and we are an organizational member of the British Association for Counselling. We are 'Person Centred' and believe that this is fundamental to our work.

Training

Many people describe a sense of helplessness when encountering someone facing the terminal illness or death of a loved one. Our training provides an understanding of grief along with practical strategies for working with those who are bereaved or facing the death of someone close.

We offer training for teachers and school staff, HR and business, statutory and voluntary organisations who work with bereaved children, young people and adults.

Complementary Therapies

We provide a holistic package of supportive care for bereaved families here at Edward’s Trust.  We believe that complementary therapies play an important role in bereavement support by helping to ease the physical symptoms of anxiety, depression and stress which are so often associated with grief.
